In fact, in ideological terms, they demand rigid and undissenting conformity. No diversity allowed.
As far as their current interest in "Identity politics," that is solely about their interest in power politics. Divide and conquer. It is not about diversity, but rather fomenting conflict and the strife and misguided and easily manipulated, emotion driven responses that this invokes.
Majority of liberals are white hardly much different than the the alt-rights. Most minorities actually don't agree with progressive policies. A lot of Hispanics and Blacks are more conservative in value than progressive. Majority of them are against gays.

There's no problem with diversity, but Dems are too overboard with assuming EVERYTHING is racist. If 2 white people are arguing about what type of pizza's best, they're just having an argument. But if a white person and a black person were arguing about what type of pizza is the best, it must be that the white person is attacking a black person and is therefore being a racist.
The other problem is that everything is misogyny. Criticize a woman, it must be misogyny. Like at the VP debate. The most awful, wokeist people thought the VP was a misogynist and dominating the debate. That awful wokeist Mark Ruffalo and his posse of abhorrent actors/singers said it.
What Democrats don't realize is that assuming everything is misogyny is actually weakening the woman; it's suggesting that she needs to be coddled and sweetly spoken to; it's suggesting that she cannot handle herself when debating a man.
That people somehow need diversity training or a diversity officer in a company is insulting to modern Americans. We all KNOW this. We don't need stupid training. We know how to treat each other just by living every day and being around other people. Democrats love this, but it's going overboard.
And Yelp said you can give a bad review to a restaurant for being racist. How do you know it's race? Just because the customers who got bad customer service is a minority?
Are you saying I'm liberal for thinking diversity can be ok in small doses?
I can understand not being for diversity period
I'm not for or against diversity.
I'm for capitalism. It solves everything whether you like it or not. Whether you personally win or not.
If you're espousing forced anything...that's bad. It's the basis of socialism.
