I can't say this surprises me at all but reading it, I was surprised to see that his wife actually owns a private jet charter company. So much for the carbon footprint, particularly when you add this to the yacht and the houses.
Kerry has always mooched off the wealth of his wives. His first wife, Julia Thorne, was a part of centimillionaire Thorne family and his 2nd wife, Theresa Heinz, is a billionairess who inherited the wealth of her 1st husband, Senator John Heinz.
Good to see you bring this up, OP! I've brought this up many times. What kind of carbon footprint do many of these virtue signaling progressives have from all their air travel? I get a full flight is more fuel efficient on a MPG per passenger basis than driving, but private jets are not, and it's a lot more miles than driving. One trans continental flight equals what I drive per year. My carbon footprint is a small fraction of many of these people who talk the talk about being green have.
My one hangup with people is how often they say one thing and do the opposite. I'm always on the lookout for people who's words match their actions.

He is a member of the political elite so he is above the laws that we have to follow.
Imagine you're grilling up some burgers on a Sunday afternoon and your neighbor who lives in the McMansion next door is out washing his Hummer in the driveway, leans over the fence and "pssst, hey Joe, c'mere, you know grilling and meat eating is bad for the climate?"
That neighbor is Kerry and his ilk.
