I do t know if Cuomo committed a crime but withholding the actual number of nursing home deaths for political reasons seems highly suspicious and does warrant investigation. Now we wait and see if CNN and Cuomo’s other cheerleading networks will give this any decent and impartial coverage.

Liberal favorite Gretchen Whitmer continued the deadly nursing home policy a full 2 months after ALL other states had stopped it.
Whitmer's administration has not had quality data on the number dead in nursing homes. State congress members have pressed for better data and Whitmer can't or won't provide it.

Look, Cuomo should not have covered up nursing home deaths. That was dead wrong. So was threatening someone for not covering up for him.
He was in a hard spot with Covid being so new and New York being hit as hard as it was. The hospitals were overwhelmed, and unfortunately, nursing homes were hit hard.
So what do you do with nursing home patients that need around the clock care that can't say in the hospital because those beds are badly needed? Where do they go?
I understand why Cuomo did what he did. There was no choice. These people have to go somewhere. Do you think nursing homes in other states would take them? I don't think so.
Cuomo should have been honest from day one about what was happening, and pop up temporary hospitals should have immediately been mobilized to handle the positive nursing home cases. Other countries had isolation places for Covid patients so they didn't infect family members. Why weren't we doing that here? Bad leadership?
