Maybe for drugs or opiates but blood alcohol content can be determined in a few minutes. As I said earlier I like Tiger but it would bother if he gets special treatment. If he was drunk he should be treated like anyone else, i.e., lose his driver's license, heavy fine, community service, maybe even a little jail time if his BAC was off the charts. We'll see.
True in general but I think if Woods had a fender bender it wouldn't make it past page 5. This was a pretty bad car wreck and Woods is in really bad shape. It's pretty bad
Despite the level of his injuries, he's still alive and even if he didn't survive, there are many that get into car accidents with injuries and/or die every day. So, why are those that died/got injured front page news? It's all about revenues due to his popularity. Just like anyone who gets injured, I wish him a quick recovery.
However, this is just another example that 'news' now days is for entertainment and a tool to generate revenue that reaches the masses.
And you don't think the hospital tested his blood before he went under anesthesia? Why would you think that?
Personally, I would like some confirmation from the medical people involved as to whether there were alcohol or drugs in his system.
