Athletes literally contribute nothing to the society. They don’t create, invest, or create wealth by playing a few balls.
How is this guys injury more important than everything else going on in this world?
Or, how about the fact that he has DUI’s and a reckless driving record, yet no mention? No mention of him endangering others? Pause, now think of the severe castigation if if were somebody else famous, perhaps less beloved...
I'm wondering if happiness is irrelevant too. Playing sports makes a lot of people happy. So does going to movies and concerts. What is the meaning of life if you aren't having fun? For me it is to learn. Learning makes me happy. Surely that isn't irrelevant.
Why is this headline news?
Because Tiger Woods is plenty famous.
He's not Donald Trump.
He's not Joe Biden.
This story isn't political.
It was a slow news day.
There are more reasons.

Hes had a history of mixing booze and pain medication. Im sure he paid someone off to keep quiet. They need to quit giving millions of dollars to these people to support their drug habits. That would be a good start. They probably would have prevented quite a few deaths to wealthy people/celebrities by doing this

This is blatantly libelous. And pretty ugly of you to make that accusation while Tiger Woods is still in the hospital and with zero evidence supporting your claim.

You have to admit, considering his past, that could very well be the scenario. It is certainly in the realm of possibilities and I am NOT a Tiger Woods hater. I admire him for his previous comeback. I wouldn't even count him out now. This will just add to his motivation, if it is physically possible. The guy never quits. Yes, he has his flaws like most if not all of us.
