Last week the shooting in Atlanta was all about race and no mention of gun control. The Colorado shooting lacks the racial angle so gun control is the narrative this week.
Of course. With Democrats it's only about scoring points around getting re-elected above all. Whether that be demonizing the one guy, trying to make him out as a White Supremist, compared to the 2nd guy, not mentioning he was a Trump hating Islamist probably bent on killing white people
I'm sue he won't open it so hear is what is says, "Although mass public shootings account for only 0.1 percent of the total firearm-related mortality between 2000 and 2014".
Don't know if there is connection but, "Timonium" is a place on the border of NW Baltimore.
Unless that right is voting. Then you need to register, have ID, and only do it in one building per county, one day per year.
Only Citizens can vote. Citizens are granted privileges from their master government, not rights.
People have rights. It is not We The Citizens... and yes, the founders knew the difference, as citizen and person is used in the same sentence, in Articles 2 & 3.
Quote:
"CITIZEN - ... Citizens are members of a political community who, in their associative capacity, have established or submitted themselves to the dominion of government for the promotion of the general welfare and the protection of their individual as well as collective privilege. "
- - - Black's Law Dictionary, Sixth Ed. p.244
"... the term 'citizen,' in the United States, is analogous to the term "subject" in the common law; the change of phrase has resulted from the change in government. ... he who before was a "subject of the King" is now a citizen of the State."
- - - State v. Manuel, 20 N.C. 144 (1838)
Voting is not a right of all people. It is a privilege, only citizens are privileged to.
