Dr. Tobin said he would not accept any payment since this is his first time testifying.
BTW, he is the best there is!
Dr. Tobin is a very very impressive person. His credentials are impeccable. Loving his presentation and hoping the jury is taking in everything he says. This guy is from what I understand one of the best if not THEE best in his field...when it comes to breathing and the respiratory system.
He has already said George being handcuffed prone on the ground in combination with Chauvin on his neck AND back is a direct cause of George not getting enough oxygen into his body. Which goes with the police officer training that says you are supposed to lay someone on their side or sit them up in order to avoid the very thing that happened.
Oh yes....19 years of experience....but is scared of a 9 year old.
19 years of experience yet didnt know (or more accurately didnt care) that the person beneath him was dying.
19 years of experience but couldn't be bothered to render aid, check for a pulse, or at the very least get off of a lifeless body. The EMTs had to tell a 19 year experienced officer to GET OFF of Floyd who had not moved for close to 4 minutes.
What this 19 year experienced officer showed us is these sorts of things have nothing to do with training and experience. It has everything to do with human decency. Chauvin and his elk are savages. Even animals prefer to kill quickly. What Chauvin did to George Floyd is nothing short of torture.
You need to go on a conducted tour of US prisons and see what savages are like. There are 2 million of them. They are caught by police officers and removed from your neighborhood and mine so we can live in safety. This is why we need police officers like Chauvin and not cowards who cringe at the sight of a chocolate cake splattered on the floor.

Are you conceding, based on Dr. Tobin's testimony, that Chauvin's actions caused the death of Floyd?
Is this why you are pivoting to lame justification of Chauvin's actions?

Dr. Tobin is a breathing expert. If what he said is true, then police department manuals need revision to prohibit restraining procedures that can interfere with respiration of suspects. We are back to the chocolate cake and why guys like you are leery of police work.
Again, one can talk and still not be breathing effectively. If one cannot take a deep enough breath to reach the alveoli, no oxygen can reach the blood stream nor can CO2 be eliminated from the blood stream.
However, 150cc breath is enough to pass the vocal cords and vocalize a sentence with each small breath that does not benefit as gas exchange of the body. This is referred to as "dead space."

I believe the police experts, who testified previously, said that once the person is subdued they should immediately be placed in the recovery position.
