First, I find no independent source of the figures of those who have allegedly died from the vaccine. I have no doubt that there are some deaths. I had the Modena vaccination and the second dose caused me to have an episode of chills and a mild fever. If I were 95 years old and in poor health, a mild reaction to the vaccination might be dangerous. Same is true with such a person going down a flight of steps. Finally, let's just say that there have been 2249 deaths due to the vaccine. How many people have the vaccine saved from death? Car airbags have actually been known to cause the death of a car passenger in rare, isolated incidents. So, do we remove airbags from cars?
Only about 1% of adverse reactions are reported to VAERS.
(I have no idea if this is true, but I'll assume that it is and respond with that assumption.)
Not deaths, though. All deaths within a certain time period are required to be reported. Serious side effects tend to get reported. Sore arms and fevers and nausea? No. And 99% of the side effects are things like sore arms, fevers, fatigue, nausea, and chills.
I don't think it was this vaccine, but a doctor reported to VAERS that he turned into the Incredible Hulk after receiving a vaccine to prove a point. Anything and everything that you want to report can be reported. Since everyone knows that the immune system causes fevers and chills and headaches in response to the vaccination, the vast, vast, vast majority are not going to report that to anyone. Why would they? It's common knowledge and would be like calling to report to some agency that the lidocaine you had for your dental filling caused your lip to feel numb.

I’ve heard the Incredible Hulk story before, I think that’s a grave misuse of the system and the person who did it had ulterior motives. Not good.
Largely depends on the age. For someone in their 20s and early 30s, it might be a wash either way. For under 20, the vaccine might be more dangerous but still very low risk.
But if the get COVID-19 they can infect someone who is vulnerable. The selfishness of people is amazing.
This is just more fear mongering by people manipulating numbers to cause fear not to inform.
