NOTHING! It’s free for them, courtesy of the American taxpayer. Community college would be covered in full.

What other bills are you talking about? The monthly bulk for the Smartphone? The bill from MACY’s for cosmetics? The bill from Kay Jewelers for the new bracelet? Sorry, under MW, you can’t buy any of that. That doesn’t mean one can’t squeak by paying for just the basics.

Tuition for advanced education to move out of the "entry level job."

Are you in support of free tuition for community college and technical college?

I just answered above. Community college is free for low-income. You don’t need that much education to move beyond MW entry level job.

Definitely! I like when people better themselves, and take advantage of the opportunities offered them. That’s how my parents, uncle, and aunt all moved from poverty to the upper-middle class.

I know President Biden would like free tuition for tech. and community college, but other than small grants, where do you get the impression it is currently free for low-income?

Pell Grants cover more than $6,000 a year. That will cover community college. (Available for low-income.)

You didn’t know about that?

Pell Grants are based on the parents' income.

The EFC is calculated according to a formula established by law. Your family's taxed and untaxed income, assets, and benefits (such as unemployment or Social Security) all could be considered in the formula. Also considered are your family size and the number of family members who will attend college or career school during the year. The EFC Formula guide shows exactly how an EFC is calculated.
