Sick. These men are going to dominate women's sports. All I can do is watch and laugh.
Same old tired argument. In Collegiate sports trans females have been competing for 10 years now. The NCAA made claim in that 10 yr period there has been at least 50 trans females competing at any given time with a total over 200. Only 1 (half of 1 percent) was competitive enough to compete at the Div 1 level.
Why would the next 10 years be much different?
That is also the reason why the courts will strike down state bans that include Public Universities. There is conflicting data, and there is real life history. Real life events do not conform to the theory that trans females after transition have inherent advantages.
Transwomen are not women and most biological women agree with this, even if they talk the talk to be polite. Women are so polite all the time the get steamrolled and victimized, this is a FACT. All the excuses in the world won't change biology and this issue should never have entered the public square, it's just that obvious to anyone with intelligence who doesn't play the "lets pretend" game.
I do believe this whole transgender issue is in early stages and men, women and trans need to figure out how this works with the sports world.
I hesitate to dictate a policy not being active in weightlifting.......but it all needs to be openly discussed and all angles looked at.
I think that it isn't transphobic to have concerns of what it means for sports. I think it is honest and real to acknowledge all of this has to be addressed by the athletes, the governing bodies and society.
How come women who become men don't compete with the real men.? because they would surely lose. This is why men who become women compete, because they have the greatest chance to win .
Data has shown trans female runners times and marks reduce on average of about 12 percent after a year of HRT. That puts them right in the range of a female.
How about Olympic weightlifting records?
Men's 56kg: 307kg
Women's 58kg: 246kg
Difference: 61kg/20%
Men's 62kg: 327kg
Women's 63kg: 262kg
Difference: 65kg/20%
Men's 69kg: 357kg
Women's 69kg: 275kg
Difference: 82kg/22%
And of course, the category in which she is competing:
Men's Superheavy: 473kg
Women's Superheavy: 333kg
Difference: 140kg/30%
Also, an average of 12%, what's the std dev? how many don't lose 12%?
Many democrats deny the science that there are significant biological differences between men and women.
Stop! Nothing to do with Political Parties.
Testosterone drives many of those biological differences. Suppress the testosterone and many of the advantages go away.
Go back and read my post on collegiate trans athletes, and then tell me why they were not all D1 athletes on scholarships.
This calls up the familiar arguments of "She was born a male and thus has some unfair advantages" and "No, that shouldn't make any difference as long as she meets the medical requirements".
I can see this only becoming more common in the future. My bet is that the transgender athletes will eventually win their case over opposing arguments:

Stop asking them to follow the science, because it confuses them, they only "follow the science" when they think it might help them win an argument. When following the science does not seem to help win their argument, then they ignore the science. They left are like a cult, the cult follows no rules, only lurches from one emotional messaging meme to the next.
