I think the court looked at it more like you're free to punch someone a few times if they sexually assault you.
It's kinda like how if you walk up to someone in a bar and hit them first and they turn around and punch you back and you die...they shouldn't face charges.

So what we've got here, is a gigantic young man who feels justified in stomping another person to death, breaking all his facial bones and knocking out his teeth, and he's out there among us.

Um, you can’t compare a wrong McDonald’s order to the deceit this guy experienced. At least be serious about that. The trans should have made it clear he was a dude underneath the makeup and clothing on the dating app. I’m not saying he deserved death, but a good beat down and jail time for sexual assault sounds about right.

I think this is more about inherent sexual identity of the individual vs superficialities.
