Seems pretty real to me. Identifying race in every conversation? Value of the individual is determined by color of skin instead of character of the individual? Telling one specific gender and racial group to be quiet? None of that is concerning to you?

Why should they?

Many, if not most, are attending the sessions (no choice) and doing what I and so many others did over the years:

Look like you're listening intently

Nod in agreement every once in a while

Enjoy the company provided donuts and bagels (if you're lucky, a free lunch )

Work on your to-do list, grocery list etc. A bonus because it looks like you're taking notes

Go back to work, roll your eyes and forget about it.

Of course conflict over C.R.A.P. (Critical Race Applied Principles) originated from the right because they are the ones who oppose it most fervently. The C.R.A.P. itself came squarely from the far left though.

Right. I remember the annual "diversity training" we all had to suffer through and then sign off on.
We'd tease each other after snarky comments with ..."Sounds like you need some DIVERSITY training".

As long as it's just a bunch of words then no one will care. But if they start putting people in positions of authority that aren't qualified....THEN you may see some flight.

All depends on how far they go with this.

-A Black transgender immigrant as a technical team lead will do no good if they don't have an engineering background.

"intersectional hierarchy"
The intersectional hierarchy determines your “position” in the Matrix of Domination.

https://newdiscourses.com/tftw-intersectionality/

“… Intersectionality very quickly adopted and modified standpoint epistemology, which claims roughly that one’s position (with respect to the systemic power dynamics defining social reality and its interactions) determines the possibilities for one’s knowledge(s) and status as a knower, which in turn reflexively define one’s relationship to dominance and oppression (see also, epistemic oppression and power-knowledge.) This was Theorized by black feminist Patricia Hill Collins as a “Matrix of Domination” in her landmark 1990 book, Black Feminist Thought...”

Positionality determines what subjects you are allowed to speak about. Awareness of one’s positionality and its implications is known as critical consciousness (see also, wokeness).

https://newdiscourses.com/tftw-position-positionality/

“… A speaker or writer’s qualifications to speak or write on the issues or topics at hand will be judged based upon his positionality and what it allows...”

All they would get from me is a middle finger and a wave goodbye.

No. Racists and those promoting race wars demand it. Anyone who tells you you are evil based solely on the color of your skin is beyond an evil person--they are racist vermin peddling hate. You folks are going to get a backlash because of this nonsense. You will accomplish exactly the opposite of what you are trying to do (or at least claim you are trying to do). You've already set race relations back at least a hundred years. Do you want to go for two hundred?

R.I.P. Raytheon.
On another hand, when weapons company goes down, it's a good thing.

Really ? The "free market" is demanding diversity training ?
What a bunch of hooey.

Empty phrases just repeated over and over and I bet you don't even have a clue what that means.

Just wait until the tech companies start putting into practice .... a degree in computer science won't do you a bit of good if you have the wrong skin color.
