So what are they supposed to do? Resign? Stop applying for promotions? Stop applying to colleges and universities?

What?
Really what they expect them to do is pass the test at the end of the training, sign the form that acknowledges they took the training, then get back to business as usual. Especially if they are a valued employee. Maybe the low hanging fruit needs to visibly practice what was preached to avoid being made an example of but the rest of them need to get back to work and put in some billable hours, since all this training crap is overhead.

In a related lesson, Raytheon asks white employees to deconstruct their identities and “identify [their] privilege.” The company argues that white, straight, Christian, able-bodied, English-speaking men are at the top of the intersectional hierarchy—and must work on “recognizing [their] privilege” and “step aside” in favor of other identity groups. According to outside diversity consultant Michelle Saahene, whites “have the privilege of individuality,” while minorities “don’t have that privilege.”

https://www.city-journal.org/raytheo...al-race-theory

The program then tells white employees to adopt a new set of rules for interacting with their minority colleagues. Employees should “identify everyone’s race” during conversations, “including those who are White.” According to the document, white employees must “listen to the experiences” of “marginalized identities” and should “give [those with such identities] the floor in meetings or on calls, even if it means silencing yourself to do so.” This process of voluntary racial silence is a “win-win,” because “you learn more when you listen than when you speak.”
The first step to indoctrination into the CRT cult is to establish the pecking order, this is mandatory and the first step towards reaching “critical consciousness” (aka woke).

Intersectionality defines the buckets you get assigned to, Positionality defines your place in the pecking order.

Quote:
Crenshaw has gone on to describe intersectionality as a “practice,” which is unsurprising since she tied the concept to praxis from the very beginning (see also, critical pedagogy). In practice, intersectionality means, in the words of critical whiteness educator Robin DiAngelo, “positionality must constantly be engaged.” What this means is that one must cultivate an awareness of the various ways in which one’s group identities “intersect” to provide privilege and create oppression, and one must acknowledge these in all situations and reflect (if not act) upon their relevance in all behaviors, especially social interactions. This is considered an ongoing and lifelong practice and is not negotiable.
Quote:
The performance of engaging one’s positionality is, essentially, a woke ritual that, besides signalling compliance to Social Justice ideology, also conditions the speaker (especially) and hearers to further embrace any conclusions of Theory that follow. This acknowledgement and engagement ritual precedes many or most communications because, as critical race educators including Robin DiAngelo (author of White Fragility) tells us, it “must be intentionally engaged.”
Once your place in the pecking order has been defined, then positionality determines what topics of knowledge you are allowed to speak about.

Quote:
In practice, this would mean, for example, that before offering any opinion, a homosexual Hispanic man would be expected to take pains to describe his identity statuses and how those position him with respect to societal power dynamics: dominance as a man, oppressed as a homosexual, oppressed by white people but oppressor to black people as a Hispanic, and so on, including also ability status, trans status, and other identity markers (see also, BIPOC, people of color, privilege, and white adjacent). The purpose of this exercise would be to credential him through his lived experience in the system as a knower about the “realities” of oppression where he is oppressed and to acknowledge and disclaim his necessary ignorance where he holds dominance.

A speaker or writer’s qualifications to speak or write on the issues or topics at hand will be judged based upon his positionality and what it allows. Our Hispanic friend would not be deemed competent to speak on trans issues, women, or issues of race relevant to those deemed more racially oppressed than he is, but he could talk at any length—and expect to be believed—when talking about the problematics of white men, whiteness, white supremacy, heteronormativity, and homophobia.
White, heterosexual males are positioned at the bottom of the legitimacy hierarchy. According to CRT they are required to be silent.

There are 4 steps,
1. Acknowledge
2. Accept
3. Embrace
4. Leverage

Big deal, 'wingers creating hysteria over 'PC' wasn't working, so they simply 'discovered' a new & improved boogeyman... aka, 'Critical Race Theory'. Which of course RW 'Think Tanks', and FOX News, were only too happy to further 'promote'.

How a Conservative Activist Invented the Conflict Over Critical Race Theory
To Christopher Rufo, a term for a school of legal scholarship looked like the perfect weapon.

I totally agree with Raytheon's program and especially the part about beginning conversations in which the speaker acknowledges their race and role on the power structure everytime they speak.
However, this should apply ONLY to upper management.

The rest of us have work to do.

Now this is a new buzzword I've seen mentioned several times in various articles by both corporations and schools in reference to CRT.

"intersectional hierarchy"

Nice that you can accept this based on that one rule you made up.
In reality though it's all employees. Do you still agree based on that actual rules ?

Doesn't anyone anywhere realize that all this CRT crap has been proven to have the exact opposite effect as the desired one? Companies and schools preach this Neo-Marxist crap believing in their heart that it will decrease anti-black and anti-minority animosity and racism. Turns out, it increases both. So why keep preaching it??

Turns out that trying to enact Struggle Sessions from the Chinese Communist Cultural Revolution doesn't work very well in a nation full of people who are free to think and say whatever they want. But we do need to stop this, "Hate yourself whitey!!" crap.

Wanna get rid of racism. Stop talking about it. The surest sign that you're civilization is still racist? Nobody can shut up about race. Everyone constantly thinks about race. This crap ain't helping there.

Maybe that IS their desired effect.
