It’s generally too hard to do because the vast majority of people who get caught using them are often in situations where they can simply just walk away and there isn’t anyone there to arrest them or document it
Good luck catching anyone though. That's been one of my problems with this rollout, the only people being caught are the ones stupid enough to run a public scheme. The ones not being caught are the ones that spend 10 minutes with photoshop to create a blank one that they scribble in with some barely intelligible writing later. Do you think even a concert or cruise line is going to take the time to connect with this hypothetical medical database and cross-reference someone's uploaded card image against the electronic records?

Even my brother’s company which is requiring new employees to be vaccinated is simply just looking at the card and not verifying the numbers so who knows how many of those people are really vaccinated

We all just went to a pharmacy kinda in a poorer part of the city and got cards. You just hand them a fifty and they give you back a completed card. He showed us the vial and said it was a legitimate batch number. No shots involved.
