Friday is the true big day, when the SC justices discuss their positions together, and assign whom is to write each one.

Actually men are now being held accountable like never before via court ordered child support, so what you are saying is false.

Apart from that, as everyone keeps saying, it is HER body and her reproductive system. She should be in charge of it. Right?

Pro-abortionists seem to be treating women like they are completely stupid and have no say in the matter. They just happened to get pregnant and have no other alternatives besides an abortion. That is absurd.

Actually, our founders did not address the issue in our precious Constitution. They did indicate all rights not explicitly granted the Federal government were to be decided at local levels.

That is the core thing the justices must decide on. Interpret the Constitution based on its actual writing, in regards to the issues at play.

No one is pro abortion. They are just prochoice. It's a very personal decision and not taken lightly. But it should be their decision and not government

So basically in half of the country women will be forced to give birth to children with birth defects, regardless of whether those children are viable. Many will give those children up for adoption and they will languish for years in a state system, as they do now. Just an absolute nightmare...

And in the other half, women will still have agency. What's the point of maintaining a country if rights are so vastly unequal?

I'm a married woman who had an abortion. What do you want to know?

Constitution aside, it is common sense.

In Texas, the upshot is that a quarter of the family planning clinics in the state were closed, and poor women now suffer greatly and have more abortions than before the clinics closed. Or did, before the stupidly written law in the last session was passed banning abortions after 6 weeks, and allowing anyone to sue anyone they thought helped make the abortion happen.

Not one of those morons who passed those laws wants to spend any money at all helping poor mothers. In many cases, it ends up that the legislators figuratively take the newborns, and smash their heads against a concrete pillar.
Knowing full well planned parenthood did/does abortions, the federal government gives millions to planned parenthood.
You are obviously living under a rock.

Just wondering how many single women have abortions versus married women who have abortions. Not single women who become married. Don’t know your situation and don’t really want to know (no offense intended).

There is no more "Constitution aside" at this superb SCOTUS.

That is precisely what I wanted from the 2016 election.

Our newest 3 are likely on SCOTUS into the 2050s.
