Yes, the behind-the-scenes discussions were quite intense, according to reports. There were moments back in July when it appeared this bill would be dead. But Biden and his team never gave up on it, on us. In our age of polarization it is quite the feat to see a major administration agenda pass the Senate with such a remarkable show of bipartisan support.

President Biden is showing the American people he is a uniter - through his actions and his achievements. And America is listening.

This “infrastructure bill” is a massive, corrupt cash grab that will cause extraordinary pain for productive, employed members of the middle class.

Biden is a failure.

Everyone who voted for him is complicit in the irreparable harm he is doing to our country.

What goes on behind the scene is that special interests get to work adding provisions that benefit them. We don't know what the mealy mouthed no goods in the Congress are promised for doing the dirty work of the special interests. Not too long ago, there were columnists who wrote about the scummy deal making like Drew Pearson, Jack Anderson and more recently Evans and Novak. There are no such "muck raking" newspaper reporters today.

He is starting with the Senate, and hopefully this spirit of bipartisanship will continue to blossom under President Biden’s competence.

Today is a good day for America, good news everywhere from Cuomo realizing the rules of society have changed, to the springtime of bipartisanship. Cheer up. It is ok to rejoice when something truly great for America happens. Thank you Senate. Thank you President Biden.

When the infrastructure bill stalled in the halls of Senate, Biden and his team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to advance a key administration objective through the legislature. Today, their hard work pays off as the Senate just passed the legislation with bipartisan support, overcoming its biggest hurdle.

In stark contrast to the previous administration’s showy incompetence, the Biden administration exemplifies how to get things done for Americans, quietly, competently, and with bipartisan support.

Biden wins, America wins. Bravo.
Wow. Ok. Sure.

This is a pork-filled monstrosity. Biden has no clue what's in it, and was probably napping when it was written.

Thanks for that!! In these difficult times, we can always use a really good joke!!

The braindead idiot in the White House is so mind-bogglingly incompetent, partisan and divisive ... words fail to describe it.

But we do know this much: His butt's been wiped!!

Good I suppose for the special interest groups, for the average Americans, unfortunately they will be paying the bill. The only thing he United is the cronies of the career politicians who are pocketing money off the backs of taxpayers.

I very much enjoy welcoming them to Biden’s base of support. He wins them by accomplishments, not by angry tweets. I love it.
Oh I see. This is supposed to be a thread where Democrats and Biden voters can talk amongst themselves, sniff each other's farts, and delude each other into believing that Joe Biden is actually a good president.

Why do that where the rest of us who live in the real world can see it?? It just makes you look bad, seriously.

Truth: Donald Trump was a a-hole and Joe Biden is a braindead idiot. Neither has any business being POTUS, but we're so stupid, that's who got nominated.
