Problem is, if a person becomes infected, they have no idea which group they will be in. If vaxxed, there is a much better chance of being in the mild symptoms group.

COVID has a 98% recovery rate. That has stayed consistent even pre-vaccine.

Maybe we shouldn't be vaccinating healthy people with healthy immune systems and a strong chance for natural recovery if they contract the virus.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended Tuesday that fully vaccinated people begin wearing masks indoors again in places with high Covid-19 transmission rates. The agency is also recommending kids wear masks in schools this fall.

Federal health officials still believe fully vaccinated individuals represent a very small amount of transmission. Still, some vaccinated people could be carrying higher levels of the virus than previously understood and potentially transmit it to others.

“This pandemic continues to pose a serious threat to the health of all Americans,†CDC Director Rochelle Walensky told reporters on a call. “Today, we have new science related to the delta variant that requires us to update the guidance regarding what you can do when you are fully vaccinated.â€

...
Walensky said new data shows the variant behaves “uniquely differently from past strains of the virus,†indicating that some vaccinated people infected with the delta variant “may be contagious and spread the virus to others.â€

So according to the CDC Director - the vaccine doesn't prevent COVID, and those vaccinated can be contagious.

The vaccine also is a serious risk to one's heart and blood systems.

It gets worse and worse for the vaccine. Meanwhile, over 30,000,000 people have recovered from COVID.

What a freaking mess... courtesy of China and its enablers.
I'm surprised the CDC had the guts to admit this.

So we just ignore the 2% who could end up on a ventilator for week and maybe die?

Yes, let's give the virus hundreds of millions of places to live and mutate! WOW!

Let's allow hundreds of millions of people spread the virus so the vulnerable people have a much higher chance of getting infected! WOW!

Very true, last year many people that tested positive for covid said they were asymptomatic or had mild symptoms comparable to the cold or flu.

It states right on worldometers more recovered, than died.

The fact is, we now are finding the vaccine is not preventing transmission or stopping someone from acquiring covid, so getting vaccinated is not going to stop the virus.

Not this year. It seems like everyone I know that has had it recently (and currently) has said it was pretty bad. These are people in their 30s and 40s.

A former coworker of mine died from covid yesterday morning. He was only 41.

I live in a hot zone of covid. It is worse this year. Last year it seemed like it affected mostly the elderly and obese, this year it's younger seemingly healthy people.
