lol the end result will be less deaths associated with heroin since there will be less of it.

They resent being called the JV team by obama but greatly appreciate Obama covering for them allowing ISIS to recruit and expand.

From experts the distinction among the various names for the collective ME terrorist organizations is purely academic and only useful for political narratives.

They want a global Caliphate, so that people will live by the law of God (sharia) instead of the law of Man.

They want to kill us.

They are like rabid animals and cannot be reasoned with or engaged in discussion.

In terms of Heroin production, if the Taliban really do manage to cut production in Afghanistan it will most likely just move to other countries such as Myanmar or Lebanon’s Bekaa valley or even Mexico, which has seen a downturn due to the rise of Fentanyl in the US, with the Mexican Mafia eager to replace any gap in the market caused by the Taliban.

The Golden Triangle will just see more Heroin production, thus replacing the Golden Crescent, whilst countries such as Mexico and Columbia will also replace any short fall in Afghanistan production.

Myanmar (formerly the world’s chief heroin producer in the 1980s) has just witnessed a military coup that threatens to send it back to the bad old days, while Lebanon’s Bekaa valley benefits from lying closer to Europe and already being a major exporter of hash (as well as a heroin producer back in the ‘80s).

Golden Triangle (Southeast Asia) - Wikipedia

Golden Crescent - Wikipedia

So the Taliban are not going to have much of an impact on global drug markets, indeed manufactured Fentanyl is often worse than Heroin and often varies in strength far more than Heroin, leading to more fatal overdoses.

Is there much scope for negotiations, not really, they may be willing to swap some hostages for aid money, however it's best not to get in to negotiations with evil religious fundamentalist groups and terrorists.

That is right.

They want to establish a worldwide Islamic caliphate, with everyone under Sharia law. It is brutal in the extreme, completely intolerant of Western ideals of freedom, democracy, human rights, not to mention the whole wokesterism track. In fact many people in that last group would be quickly executed in very large numbers, if the Islamic jihadis were in charge.

It appears they released all the prisoners - didn't check to see their crimes or identities.

They want nothing besides bloodshed and death to everyone that doesn't practice their brutal interpretation of Islam.

That's what makes ISIS so difficult to fight. It's more of an idea than it is an army. We can't just send drones and planes to carpet bomb platoons it enemy soldiers and factories like in the past.

ISIS is unpredictable and they have lots of people who consider it an honor to kill themselves if it means killing other people.

Even the Taliban weren't happy about the ISIS bombing earlier this week.
