me and a good frend went fishing thden we discuss what vote age shuld be rasie 2. i think abuot 50 because we need old school way of thinkin. 17 or what is now is bad beacuse its liberal jumbo that is clouding our young voters judgement.

and if at 18 you can go die in Iraq, then by god you should be able to vote.

DOn't worry age doesn't matter...........my kids response when I told them the first thing they had to do after turning 18 was to register to vote was, why the personal vote doesn't matter anyway. Sorry to say they are right.

I don't think 18 year olds should be able to serve.

I think that to be able to vote one must be at least 18 years old AND have paid income taxes in the previous year.
The applies to those on welfare who do not work as well as the very rich who live off of the dividends and interest of their outside investments and don't work.

If you have taught them that all they have to do is to vote without actually getting actively involved in national or, especially, local issues or campaigns then you are absolutely right, they don't matter.

so if you're 18 and in college and still a dependent you shouldn't be able to vote?
