LOL at this thread and poll results. Biden voters own guns and hunt just like Trump supporters. A lot of Republicans ended up voting for Biden and other Republicans who they found less objectionable than Trump. Ron Johnson had a hidden video exposed recently where he talked about this discrepancy. Trump lost because he alienated many people who voted for him in 2016. I have in-laws who voted for him and supported him but hate how he handled Covid.

Yes, but not for private security guards who are essential in protecting our beloved celebrities and politicians. Also, we can't ban the portrayal of guns in movies (yet - don't worry, we will get there soon enough). Most police shouldn't have guns unless protecting someone in politics or politically connected. Finally, the military doesn't need guns when we will have world peace if we just elect more democrats!
This is another useless poll because it's too general. You make no distinction, for instance, between what people may "want" and what they realistically expect or hope for. You make no distinction between a system with stringent requirements and fees versus the free-for-all that the NRA wants to promote. And any use of "all" means you'll get inaccurate results, since you're lumping owners of one handgun for protection or one hunting rifle together with people who stock up in a big way.
If you don't like my poll, make your own. The fact is almost 2/3 of people in THIS poll want to ban all guns.
I’m a Biden supporter and deer hunter. What does that tell you? I’m getting a bit tired of the OP’s attempts to liken the differences in party ideology to right vs. wrong, good vs. evil or reasonable vs. insane. I’m sorry but your screwed up world-view is pretty damn far from reality.
I was simply posting this poll in response to the ridiculous poll trying to make out all Trump supporters as pro lifers who want to ban abortion. So did you have a problem with THAT thread?
A national poll, by the way, shows that the majority of Americans, both Republican and Democrat, want some form of gun control.
Any time we have a Democratic President, the NRA (which has an 8 story building in Washington DC for propaganda/lobbying) strikes unnecessary fear in Americans that their guns are going to be taken away. The NRA has been doing this for decades, and they laugh all the way to the bank.
There are some people who have no business owning a gun! And who would not disagree with that!!!

I recently read a book on the NRA, and any number of Congressmen and Senators would love to initiate some gun control in this country, but they know better than to even try.
If a Congressman or Senator campaigns for gun control, the NRA will send out propaganda in that district, with the usual fear, your guns are going to be taken away from you. it works like a charm every time!
