If we hadn't meddled into other countries affairs years before 911 and let Israel take care of itself, we might not have had the WTC bombings in the early 90s and then later 911. We don't need to be policing the world. Also, we could've saved 2.6 trillion which was what it cost to stay in Afghanistan.

We keep choosing to forget it was the State Department who negotiated complete troop withdrawal and facilitating the release of Taliban fighters with the Taliban in 2020. The Taliban identified itself as the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

The outgoing admin had facilitated the release of 5000 Taliban fighters from Afghan prisons in 2020 and left only 2500 troops in country. 2500 troops, a 95% reduction from peak. Let that sink in.

Somehow 2500 troops were going to round up all Americans who had been told to leave for years , many of whom never bothered to register with the embassy.

Somehow some believe 2500 troops should have either transported all the war toys accumulated over 20 years and transported them out of a land locked mountainous country. Conversely, 2500 troops could have focused on destroying the war toys and left itself defenseless had the situation changed.

Somehow 2500 troops were going to cherry pick Afghans who claimed to have been helpful to the US at points over the past 2500 years.


The state department agreed in 2020 to withdraw all troops by 5/1/2021. From the sidelines, Trump continued to champion doing so through late April, 2021. It was understood the Taliban was going to be in charge of the country come 5/2/2021.

Unvetted Afghanistan people targeted for resettlement are being held at bases in Qatar and the US, pending vetting. There was no travel ban from Afghanistan. Afghans has been free to visit the US all along. And any did so. Suddenly, some are worried there may be terrorists within the people being vetted.

The US was and remains a NET importer of oil. The nearly record low GLOBAL prices were attributed to a massive lack of GLOBAL demand due to Covid and a price war between the the Saudis and Russia which compelled the Saudis to increase production, despite a lack of GLOBAL demand.

Biden paid his respects at all three memorial sites and chose to not make it about him with a speech. Former presidents Clinton and Obama joined him in NYC and Bush in Pennsylvania. Obviously Trump chose to not to join in with former presidents and instead was a commentator during the Holyfield fight carried on Pay for View- bizarre, regardless of the date.

“Orange man bad” has been replaced with “old man bad “ by those blinded by their respective partnerships.
Both side of the coin seem to prefer to lives their lives in a state of perpetual outrage from often edited out of context sound bites.
