I feel the same. Nothing has changed, Jewish space lasers still lighting us up like someone else said. I feel safer from the coronavirus because I'm vaccinated, was not in 9/20, but otherwise, "my" America has not changed in one year.

I did not expect all the things that Trump caused to improve in 8 months. I feel better knowing that we have a president who is committed to solving problems rather than exploiting hate and promoting himself while ignoring them. Time will tell how things look near the end of Biden's first term. I think it will be much rosier than it was on 9/11/20.

Except the conditions was bombing the head talibans home and village if they break it, Biden changed the plan to withdraw fast without informing our allies, without evacuating our civilians and no conditions on the taliban.
From an objective view:
The Dept of environment has in 20 years tested air quality and stream/water quality. Implementing more guidelines for 'industry' to adhere to. So yes some safeness now exists in my area. Thank goodness we succeeded in keeping fracking out of our area. Got tired of reading the reports on how deadly fracking is to the drinking water. Fix one thing then approve Its 'cause'.
Where I feel safer in products , I also know as humans mistakes are made.
I do NOT feel safer in certain dynamics: these past few years as I've watched the anarchy and lies built by 45. Who know there was so many distrusting and conspiracy riddled . Well once it became apparent this country has 74 million willing to buy the lie. I knew the enemy and it was within our homeland. How sad.

Luckily the medical field has made wonderful strides in combating some ailments. That gives a bit of safeness.
No because Biden opened the southern border and is importing potential Islamic terrorist from Afghanistan.
