As of June 16, 2021, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota (residents only; concealed carry only), Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee (handguns only), Texas, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming do not require a permit to carry a gun.
Crook know it's much more likely that a few people in the crowd where they were going to assault someone, grab a woman's purse etc., probably have a gun.
So they decide not to assault or grab a purse.
Presto, fewer crimes committed. Without a shot being fired.
...we’re only days in. That’s not a large enough sample to declare victory for constitutional carry.
I’m going to do it a time or three just because I’d like to flex my now-legal ability to do what should be legal anyway.
But I can’t delude myself into thinking that I have the training or nerves to overcome the adrenaline dump if “it” hits the fan. If I draw and raise the stakes to life and death, I don’t have the skills to really call that bluff, and that’s why I’ve never sought to carry.
That is because we have morals down here in Texas. Visit degenerate states like kalifornia and you realize why their state is a sh*thole. Hell, all white Portland is a stain on the US, those all white individuals wouldn’t try their riots down here in Texas. I guess morals and family life is better than degenerate behavior, who knew?
Perhaps you should tour California before you condemn it so harshly. It produced a libertarian me from the Bay Area, and if you get up in the far northern part, you get into State of Jefferson territory.
I say this not just because I’m a Californian by birth and proud of it, whatever its shortcomings, I also say this as a trucker who’s been through 45 of the lower 48. Analogous for me would be NY State, a place I thought was homogeneously blue and crappy. Surprise surprise, when I went to Rochester and much of central/western NY, it was not at all what I had imagined, and is quite nice if you aren’t in the downtowns of the central cities like Syracuse, Roc, or Buffalo.
Morals like prying into a woman's personal buisiness.
You seem to hold the right to murder a child higher than all other rights...
