Abolitionist not only supported, but helped fund the raid on Harper's Ferry. Northern news papers wrote of heroism of Brown after his ill fated attack on a federal armory. There were US citizens in Northern states that funded the attack of a federal armory, that would arm terrorists to attack and kill southern US citizens. And, we wonder why the south succeeded? Sounds a lot like what we have with BLM. and the burning of US cities.
