I say let's do it. Let's teach Holocaust Denial in school in Texas. I also support teaching Texas school children the conservative version of the 6 days creation account from the bible.

Support the cause! Let us all help to make Texas a true conservative paradise.

By all means, champion this idea as if there’s a weight of support behind it, rather than accurately report that it’s one fringe school board member who is pushing this idea.

You are a font of hysteria and hyperbole.

OP is a lie, there's no evidence that she wants an opposing narrative to the Holocaust, she was telling the teachers that they had no choice due to a stupid new law that legislates all controversial viewpoints presented had to present an opposing narrative.

The mistake she made was assuming the Holocaust was a controversial view point which it isn't.

There is no opposing narrative for the Holocaust; it was just evil.

Opposing narrative? Which one is that? That gassing people is okay?

Actually, knowing the left in this nation today, I wouldn't be surprised at all. They want the camps back again.

She is not a Texas Official - she works for a school district on curriculum.
She is really not very bright or well suited for her job.

It highlights the absurdity of the new law. Which is a terrible, terrible piece of legislation.

What the bill acatually says:

(1) a teacher may not be compelled to discuss a
particular current event or widely debated and currently
controversial issue of public policy or social affairs;
(2) a teacher who chooses to discuss a topic described
by Subdivision (1) shall, to the best of the teacher ’s ability,
strive to explore the topic from diverse and contending
perspectives without giving deference to any one perspective
