It will be about what the fact checkers say... not what actually happened.
I think in the past, it was informally the mainstream media... NYT, WaPo, ABC, NBC, etc... that were the defacto standards of truth... until we found out they weren't. Now they have created another layer.

Fact checkers are businesses that are selling advertising by checking the statements, memes, written, and spoken words and stories that are constantly circulating on the web, our media, and social spots.
They are paid by having people show up to their websites. They can mostly be non-partisan companies, but with any "journalistic" company, you tend to have a lot of young idealists.
They're being funded by DARPA money and think tanks setup as Federal contractors. These talking points are disseminated to these orgs. Their purpose is not to fact check but spread propaganda.
Why are you trying to blame liberals for misinformation presented on an obviously conservative web site? You are just making that up.
It's not difficult to do.
If liberals can create fake race riots, and fake hate groups w/ FBI informants, then I don't put anything past them to do in order to create a fake crisis.
