It was hard looking at Kyle seeing the relief overcome him when he was found not guilty. All that stress and lies and machinations against him. I think he showed very poor judgement in putting himself at risk like that which should be a lesson to others. The girlfriend of one of those shot asked who would speak for him now that he's dead. He spoke for himself, his actions and disregard for his life or others spoke for him.
That assistant DA needs to be disbarred and brought up on criminal charges. I hope this young man sues those who so maliciously and falsely persecuted him and has his education paid for and his financial future secured. The media is disgusting. Vultures and wolves would look good by comparison. And Joe Brandon, he's a disgrace.

That is the look of someone who just got away with murder. He got every break in his case. Millions to bail him out, millions more for his defense team. A judge obviously in the bag for him. And now his own TV special and a book deal. Near sainthood with the white supremacists and gun nuts. Shed no tears. In the long view, he benefited immensely from his actions and especially from being prosecuted for them.

Who is the "they" who are going to do these things? Democrats have no ethics beyond advancing their marxist agenda, and republicans have no balls, with few exceptions.

It makes little sense to prosecute prosecutors. Then others will be scared to make a mistake. There needs to be some room for discretion.

But I agree I do hope this sheds light on the current ability of prosecutors to destroy anyone's life.

Prosecutors should no longer have unfettered discretion to pursue charges.

If you think it is just Kyle you are wrong. I remember the McMartin Trial... watch the movie "Indictment" with James Woods.

The system is set up to have "moral" people making these decisions. When morality has been eliminated and the press is in charge of pressure on the system over who to prosecute... you get these miscarrages of justice.

We have to change something. Right now, Twitter and MSNBC decides who's life gets destroyed. It has to stop.

I'll just address these two laughably ridiculous comments at the same time.

The judge went out of his way to not declare a mistrial with prejudice, there were NUMEROUS grounds to do so well before the case even went to the jury. If the judge truly was "in the bag", it would have been a directed verdict the second the prosecution finished their case since the facts of the case were to where no reasonable jury could possibly find the defendant guilty based on the law. Instead, he went out of his way to ensure the jury got the case despite the ridiculous nature of the charges and the gross prosecutorial misconduct. If enough activist simpletons were on the jury, it's possible Kyle could have been convicted due to what the judge did.....and the case would have been quickly overturned.

Also, why shouldn't Kyle benefit from this? Shooting child rapists, arsonists, and communists is an unambiguously good thing for humanity.

Prosecutors SHOULD be scared to engage in this level of prosecutorial misconduct.

So you want to declare a mistrial? Lets do it all over again?

Because the mainstream propaganda media approves and the leftist mob might riot if the law is enforced.

In the scenario where the prosecution engages in intentional misconduct, the mistrial is granted "with prejudice" meaning that the case cannot be re-tried.

The judge REALLY didn't want to do that despite the fact that the situation desperately called for it.

Therein lies the problem.. who makes that decision? That can always be politicized.

So for instance in my state, a judge was prosecuted for allowing an illegal alien to walk out the back door when ICE was waiting to arrest him. The prosecutor chose to prosecute this woman but the liberals say this is prosecutorial misconduct... and now they are in charge...

Would that call be made if there was a chance your enemies could come in and call legit decisions prosecutorial misconduct?
