Prosecutorial misconduct charges are typically filed in cases where there is a wrongful conviction. In this case the defendant was acquitted so there is no reason for the defense to take it any farther.
I'm not 100% sure but I believe the judge could recommend that the Asst. DA be brought before the State Bar and held accountable for the stunts he pulled in the courtroom.
That said, it's over and the defense won so it might be better to just leave it alone even though that prosecutor deserves some kind of reprimand, and that still could happen.
It should happen. And many players in the news media should have their asses sued off for slander and inciting.
