Shoplifting is no doubt an issue for every retail outlet in every corner of the country but it doesn't take a rocket science to figure out why these mass looting events are occurring in these Liberal cities...

Just wait. Didn't take long to spread across "liberal state". Just wait. Or, get Russian riot police and let them have it for about a week. That will cure any urges to loot fast and furious.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday ....flash robberies at high end luxury shopping areas around CA.

https://news.yahoo.com/breed-brazen-...130021558.html
LAPD Capt. Jonathan Tippet, who leads the department’s Robbery-Homicide Division, said it appeared there were multiple groups committing such robberies, some of them copycats inspired by social media.

He said the robbers targeting high-end stores have been emboldened by the perception that penalties for crime have dropped. “They are finding this a lucrative enterprise, with consequences that they don’t think are that bad,” Tippet said.

Tippet said it is a trend the LAPD is seeing along with follow-home robberies and street holdups. “Sooner or later, someone is going to get shot and killed,” Tippet said.

From the very article you linked comes a little tidbit that explains perfectly why California will not stop these brazen robberies:

Quote:
Beverly Hills police launched a controversial crackdown last year on Rodeo Drive after merchants complained about rising crime.

The effort is now the subject of lawsuits alleging police deliberately targeted Black shoppers. Ninety people were arrested in the crackdown. Documents obtained by The Times showed 80 of them were Black, four were Latino, three were white, two were Asian and one was classified as “other."
In other words, actually arresting criminals illustrates that fact that black people are committing crimes at disproportionate rates, as compared with their share of the population. Of course, this is clearly and obviously racist (at least, it is if you think like a liberal) and therefore must not be allowed to happen. The only way to avoid bringing these facts to light is to not arrest criminals. Instead, as the lawsuits allege, it must be blamed on racism.

As long as the powers that be are more afraid of being accused of racism than of actually doing something to fight crime, crime will continue, and will get worse. You voted for this, liberal Californians. Now you get to live with it.

Right. And the riots were "mostly peaceful".

When you decriminalize theft, and everyone is wearing masks difficult to identify anyone on video used to be illegal to wear masks in some states. Business's have been complaining liberal city leaders blame it on poverty and high homeless population. I suspect these are not homeless more then likely they are gangs, and criminal enterprises.

Defund the police and keep electing more Democrats, see how easy that was
