Didn’t AOC referred to migrant detention facilities as “concentration camp” when Trump was POTUS?
See post #55 has link to the thread we had here about it....you can see all the people defending her trying to claim it wasn't an allusion to THE concentration camps despite AOC also throwing in "never again".
Here is the thread where AOC called the Trump camps "concentration camps" and also threw in "never again".
Do you remember it? Did you post to it?
I see a number of regulars in there defending AOC trying to claim that it didn't mean actual Nazi concentration camps but a number of people posted responses from themselves, twitter etc. that they were offended and had relatives etc. in concentration camps.
Yes that was wrong and no I didn't post on it, does that forgive this comment against our leading health experts. Plenty of congressmen have made dumb comments, Maxine Waters, Steve King the ... the list goes on, is that supposed to be some sort of defense.
That was hyperbole but this was hyperbole on steroids coming from a top newscaster on a major network, this is one of the reasons that Fauci needs armed protection because people actually believe this.
Fauci is no different than Josef Mengele and Joe Biden is no different than Adolf Hitler. The only reason we don't have Auschwitz No. 2 is because we still have a Constitution and some people pushing back hard.
They're the reason the People need to be armed and the Federal Government needs to be so small it can be squashed like a bug.
Fox host Lara Logan under fire after comparing the top U.S. public health official to the infamously cruel Nazi doctor, who performed experiments on prisoners in Auschwitz.
"The Auschwitz Museum in Poland slammed Fox News host Lara Logan on Tuesday, following on-air comments in which she compared Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top U.S. public health official on infectious diseases, to Josef Mengele, the infamous Nazi doctor who was nicknamed the “angel of death.”
There is no comparison to what Nazi Doctors did I don't understand why anyone would even compare anything to the Holocaust. Maybe she is ignorant to exactly what Mengele, and other doctors did. She should take a tour at one of the holocaust museums. Even Congresswoman Greene apologized for this.

You should check out post #3 in this thread by some poster called mathguy before suggesting my post was a defense.
I spent the past 5 years calling out offensive and ridiculous Nazi comparisons and linked the AOC thread as an example of the many hypocrites that frequently did this and are now upset because the right wingers picked up their schtick.
One could easily argue that Biden has a bigger platform than a Fox host when he made his Nazi comparison about Trump.

I agree that both sides use the term Nazi when they run out of ideas, but still the whataboutism is tiresome.

Until both sides stop it, whataboutism will be alive and well. It's a little childish to think only one side has to stop. Tit for tat and all.
