Dumb liberals. Why do liberals need to learn everything the hard way? We told them this would happen if they elect these woke radical DA’s that are pro-criminal and anti-law enforcement and yet they still went out and did it anyway and now they have to recall him. Idiots.

I'm thinking (hoping) that this might be different because it affects people more directly, daily, and in violent and dangerous ways, than other more amorphous policies. Like Biden placing importance on woke and green policies when people are struggling with survival on a day-to-day basis. People might come together across party lines because we're all in these particular situations together. We'll see, I guess.

This isn't a recall that the entire state can vote on, it is much more localized to the County of Los Angeles. And even ultra-liberal SF recalled their DA for being too progressive.

In the beginning, I gave this recall a slim chance, now I'd say it's probably a 75% chance.

Yeah, that surprised me.

I don't know since there is no "Black face of White supremacy" political (talk radio) star running to rally the troops against to save a Latinx DA. Especially a DA that came to office by defeating a Black birthing person.

That leftist DA from San Francisco got recall and now he is out of the job. Yeah, San Fran of all places.

So there is a good chance Gascon will get the boots

Gascon has political connections while Boudin not really. This will be tougher. They will cheat for him.
