It’s nice to see Joe get the win on infrastructure. Too bad Lumpy Trumpy couldn’t get it done.

Infrastructure was one of Trump's campaign promises. He tried many times but failed. Biden got it done. And now Trump and his supporters are mad about it. Trump is just mad that Biden accomplished something that he couldn't. When McConnell votes for a bill giving a democrat president a win, then you know it must benefit red states.

Sad that it didn’t help to boost Joe Biden’s popularity. Best President ever!

But another provision sets up some generous cuts for the wealthy.

The plan designates $285 billion to raise the state and local tax deduction to $80,000 from its current level of $10,000, reversing a part of President Donald Trump's 2017 tax law called the SALT cap. It's the single largest program within the House package, set to last through 2026. After that, there would be no limit until 2031, when the $10,000 cap would be reimposed. Put plainly, this law would allow Americans to write off up to $80,000 in state and local taxes from their federal taxes.

Why would he favor the wealthy?

The only reason Trump couldn't get an Infrastructure bill passed was because Democrats, mostly in the form of Nancy Pelosi, kept blocking one because she didn't want to give Trump any accomplishments.

Democrats care more about partisanship and their own party's power than they do the American people.

I'm not mad about it. I expect it will be a disaster, as is all that comes from this regime.

Trump didn't have to. Obama got all the infrastructure completed, with the billions spent on the "shovel ready" job's program. Nothing left on infuctructure for Trump to spend money on.
