That is technically incorrect. Babies are racist. Even my dog is racist.

I don't think anyone is truly ambivalent when it comes to race. Even the man who doesn't feel himself racist, and has friends of other races, isn't indifferent to his daughter dating someone of another race. Even if he prefers it(because he is a leftist crazy person).

Almost no white people would admit to being racist, but very few white people are excited about having brown grandchildren. Likewise Asians.

With that said, I can be friends with anyone. I can also be friends with animals. Some people prefer animals to people. They think they're in love with their German Shepherd. But that doesn't prove that humans and dogs are the same, or that the only difference between humans is "skin tone".

How is it racist if a white man prefers his daughter date white men...

And not racist if a white man prefers his daughter date black men?

His preference is 100% on race and race alone. Arguably, BOTH views are racist.

Now the rules have changed. Now, you are supposed to get special treatment if you are black. I will just say it. You get high level jobs (VP anyone), regardless of whether or not you are qualified. I know high level corporate people who have been told they didn't get the job or can't be hired because they are a white male. My husband has been told he can NOT hire white males or phrased differently, he must hire women or POC.

We all see that about 80% of the commercials are black actors. They are putting black actors in to play roles of historical, actual white people. Black twitter channels for news outlets now exist.

Millions are pouring into inner city schools where the graduation and reading proficiency rates are dismal. WHERE is that money going?

So are we supposed to accept these new rules, which are racist actually?
yep. we are supposed to embrace racism in order to fight racism.
Spoiler
leftist logic.

In the words of black conservative, Thomas Sowell:
Quote:
The time is long overdue to stop looking for progress through racial or ethnic leaders. Such leaders have too many incentives to promote polarizing attitudes and actions that are for counterproductive minorities and disastrous for the country.

The United States is the least racist country on earth, but you wouldn't know if from the frothing mouths on the media, in academia and the government.
So you are one of these privileged whites i spoke of? Tell me, why would a person be upset to see black faces on TV commercials? Why are you incensed that more minorities are being promoted to positions of authority? Say company XYZ announces a new black woman VP. How does that affect you, and why are you so resentful of it? Jealousy?

Were hiring directors told specifically which races they could not hire?

Are you OK with using racism in hiring policies?

.
Speak for yourself. I would have no problem with my daughter marrying someone of another race, neither do I prefer it. I certainly would be just as excited about brown grandkids as white ones. But you are correct, that a lot of people in this country are still racist, despite years of preaching against it.

Is it racist if black people only date other black people?

I've had managerial positions in several companies, have done a lot of hiring, and I've never been told that I have to hire a minority. I have been encouraged to seek out and consider minority applicants, but they still have to be qualified.

My son has a different experience - he has seen underqualified minorities being promoted. He works for a government contractor; maybe that's the difference.

But my question was more to the motivation of people on this board who start thread after thread about so-called reverse discrimination, or threads pointing out that black communities have higher crime rates, etc. I think you have to stop and ask yourself "why does this upset me?"

Attractiveness is subjective. But it would be racist for a black man to object to his daughter marrying a white man.
