It has been 6 years and Trump still isn’t behind bars…wasn’t there a thread somewhere laughing about how Trump is always about to go to prison?!?

Remind me again what crimes these rioters are alleged to have committed and how many of them have been held for more than a year for various misdemeanors like trespassing and disorderly conduct.

Probably most of them should have been released the next day after paying a fine and maybe picking up garbage on the side of the road.

That's what you do with people that commit misdemeanors.

If you hate the orange man so much and don't mind that the media has blatantly lied and exaggerated in their never ending witch hunt, then I beg you to go look in a mirror.

The orange man can win elections because he opposes woke nonsense. Democrats seek to make their racism systemic in schools. Trump fights back.

Democrats, come back to earth and there is no need for a bully who doesn't care about your name calling.

Republican Party leaders are in a tough spot. They've have known for some time now that they can't win fair and square. There aren't enough of them.

They are able to "win" elections by jiggering the Electoral College (designed by Founders as a representational way to conduct elections, but changed later to winner-take-all), gerrymandering voting districts, telling outright, and often outrageous lies about opposing candidates, making it more difficult for people in certain areas to vote by limiting the number of voting hours and polling locations, limiting voting machines, making it more difficult for voters to use mail-in ballots, purging voting rolls so that voters have to complete the time-consuming process of filing a Provisional Ballot in order to vote, ...

And those are just the legal activities.

Republicans are constantly chanting about locking someone up, but guess which party holds the record for indictments and convictions?

The current Republican Party leader is telling his followers to "fight like they've never fought before," and directing them to certain cities.

Is there any doubt in any reasonable person's mind what he is telling them to do?

How far are Republicans willing to support this?

And what future do they have if they don't?

The thing is, that side only exists in Trump-inspired biased propaganda news.

The left, certainly the mainstream left, is not trying to transform us into a socialist country. They are not trying to nationalize our industry, for example.

The Trump-propaganda machine is working, and it's danagerous. It's not just Trump either, they GOP has been leaning this way for some 50+ years now. All news has bias, all political parties have leanings. That's true, but to compare them to what Trump is trying to do is not even close.

"Taking care of our fellow Americans" is not Socialism. "Making sure everyone has access to healthcare", "Making sure our workforce is competitive", "Applying Constitutional rights to everyone equally" are not Socialism. They may be ill-advised, they may be poorly executed, but they are not Socialism.

THIS is why Trump and his propaganda machine are so dangerous.

The disgraced & defeated former president dangled pardons for the Jan. 6 rioters and then urged his supporters to descend on New York, Washington or Atlanta to protest and fight like you've never done before if he is convicted of crimes in the ongoing investigations. He spoke approvingly of the violent effort to overthrow the 2020 election and intimated it may be needed again. Trump also spent most of his speech complaining, falsely, that the election was stolen from him and VP Pence let him down when he wouldn't overturn it.

Come on Republican leaders, where are you? The current head of your political party, DJT, the candidate you successfully brought to the Oval Office, has publicly and openly confessed to having committed the crime of seditious conspiracy against the US Government: He produced a written statement and has verbally said he has a right to overturn the election when he said Pence should have done so for him. DJT also confessed publicly to fomenting and inciting by giving aid and comfort to insurrectionists with those pardons.

He is standing there in front of the world daring The US Government, The AG & The Justice Department to enforce the Rule of Law. You come after me and I will stir up my angry mobs and make America suffer.

This is wrong, this is dangerous and there is a major political party, who by their silence and refusal to condemn Trump and his ongoing threatening, violent rhetoric & anti-democratic positions are condoning him and his menacing movement.
Meanwhile, this is all mild compared to the even more dangerous rhetoric from Democrats like Biden, Harris, Pelosi, AOC, Hillary, Obama, etc.

Of course when Trump talk tough like the Democrats do, it’s all of a sudden, “dangerous.”

The only thing bad in this thread is your repulsive post that made things up and falsely played the race card.

Dishonest comments that falsely play the race card cannot be ignored.

Orange man bad.

He clearly has a vast and sizable following that likes what he has to say, regardless of what you think. He is a free citizen and as such, he is free to hold rallies and say whatever he wants to say. I'm not sure what the justification would be for denying him that right.

You call Trump autocratic, but demand the right to behave like an autocrat. Sounds a little hypocritical to me, but I can see why you would like this to happen. If only eliminating your political rivals were that easy...
This is the reason the GOP can’t just boot Trump. The Democrats like to pretend that shouldn’t matter, in large part because of course it’s what they hope will happen. They are being hypocrites about the whole thing as they too have their own fringe capable of inflecting great harm on our nation if given too much control of the party, a phenomenon we are all being forced to suffer through right now.

The criminals are being held accountable.

Furthermore, most Americans do not agree with the violence that erupted in some of those cities after some of the BLM demonstrations last summer, and anyone would be hard pressed to find Democratic Party members of Congress or any of the other co-equal branches of our government who encouraged it, condoned it or excused it. Maxine Waters' one statement that you exploit & take out of context was well before the BLM protests and had nothing to do what you imply.

Myriad stark differences have been pointed out between the protests for racial justice and the insurrection stoked by unfounded claims of a stolen presidential election. Turning a blind eye toward January 6, in service of The Big Lie and a sore loser, has eroded our very foundational principles and is sickening to real patriots.

So back to the topic of this thread which is the dangerous Donald J. Trump and the political party who refuses to isolate and condemn him for his corrupt anti-American activities and menacing destabilizing movement.
You are mire delusional than Trump.
