Trump's rally in Texas on January 29 2022 shows exactly why he's so dangerous

"There are times when we should ignore the rhetoric of twice-impeached former President Donald Trump -- and then there are times we must not, because his statements are potentially dangerous to our nation. Trump's comments at his Texas rally on Saturday fall into the latter category."

At Texas rally, Trump all but promised a racially charged civil war if he’s indicted |
In one of the most incendiary, dangerous speeches in US history Trump promised mayhem

https://www.inquirer.com/opinion/com...-20220130.html

The disgraced & defeated former president dangled pardons for the Jan. 6 rioters and then urged his supporters to descend on New York, Washington or Atlanta to protest and fight like you've never done before if he is convicted of crimes in the ongoing investigations. He spoke approvingly of the violent effort to overthrow the 2020 election and intimated it may be needed again. Trump also spent most of his speech complaining, falsely, that the election was stolen from him and VP Pence let him down when he wouldn't overturn it.

Come on Republican leaders, where are you? The current head of your political party, DJT, the candidate you successfully brought to the Oval Office, has publicly and openly confessed to having committed the crime of seditious conspiracy against the US Government: He produced a written statement and has verbally said he has a right to overturn the election when he said Pence should have done so for him. DJT also confessed publicly to fomenting and inciting by giving aid and comfort to insurrectionists with those pardons.

He is standing there in front of the world daring The US Government, The AG & The Justice Department to enforce the Rule of Law. You come after me and I will stir up my angry mobs and make America suffer.

This is wrong, this is dangerous and there is a major political party, who by their silence and refusal to condemn Trump and his ongoing threatening, violent rhetoric & anti-democratic positions are condoning him and his menacing movement.

I'm more worried about democrat politicians like mad Maxine Waters telling her supporters to go into private businesses and get in Trumper's faces and make them feel unwelcome. And what do you know, crime skyrocketed soon after her hateful rhetoric, as many did just that. Heck, democrats burned down half of America after she spewed that bit of hate.

You need not worry about that. Rest assured that the majority of the perpetrators of any violence that erupted at the end of the peaceful BLM marches for racial justice were arrested in their various cities, were charged by the district attorneys and are serving prison time or still in jail while awaiting trial. The criminals are being held accountable.

Furthermore, most Americans do not agree with the violence that erupted in some of those cities after some of the BLM demonstrations last summer, and anyone would be hard pressed to find Democratic Party members of Congress or any of the other co-equal branches of our government who encouraged it, condoned it or excused it. Maxine Waters' one statement that you exploit & take out of context was well before the BLM protests and had nothing to do what you imply.

Myriad stark differences have been pointed out between the protests for racial justice and the insurrection stoked by unfounded claims of a stolen presidential election. Turning a blind eye toward January 6, in service of The Big Lie and a sore loser, has eroded our very foundational principles and is sickening to real patriots.

So back to the topic of this thread which is the dangerous Donald J. Trump and the political party who refuses to isolate and condemn him for his corrupt anti-American activities and menacing destabilizing movement.

He is very bad. The other side is terrible as well. We need more people in the middle to unite and pull us out of this.

The other side ???? There is no other side to be on than America's, is there?

The dangerous position that the disgraced and defeated former POTUS has created among the American people means that no one can have an honest discussion and examination of activities that corrupt our Constitution and are destroying our very democracy.

One must be wholly with Trump's evil nonsense or labeled against the man Trump. That is his doing. It is wrong and wholly not normal. The sides he has declared are: Allegiance to Trump over America vs Allegiance to America.

The Republican Party can stop this. By not condemning and shunning Trump they show us that they believe his absurdities that are leading to atrocities. They believe in autocratic ruling that is ruination. They believe in violence over voting.

Other than Jesus and thanks in part to the internet — Trump is the most talked about person in the history of human civilization. Perhaps we are at a cross roads in human history where historians will look back and see this imperfect man used for the greater good of vanquishing the far left for what could end up being many decades.
