I used to believe that democrats, misguidedly, but in good faith, wanted to work within the system to change America for (what they thought was) the better.

But the Democratic Party of the past, is no more.

Since they have gained control of both the executive and legislative branches, it has become painfully obvious that they now want to burn the whole thing down, so they can rebuild America into something completely different than what it was ever meant to be.

Oh, that's right, how could we forget. The disgraced & defeated former POTUS demands allegiance to Trump and only Trump:
"Just remember, what you are seeing and what you are hearing is not what's happening"....Donald J. Trump.

Not only dangerous, but tragic!
A comment taken out of context? Show us where he'd stated that he "demands allegiance to him and only him" when he'd said that comment? Please use his words and not what your media has told you to think.

The criminals are being held accountable.

Furthermore, most Americans do not agree with the violence that erupted in some of those cities after some of the BLM demonstrations last summer, and anyone would be hard pressed to find Democratic Party members of Congress or any of the other co-equal branches of our government who encouraged it, condoned it or excused it. Maxine Waters' one statement that you exploit & take out of context was well before the BLM protests and had nothing to do what you imply.

Myriad stark differences have been pointed out between the protests for racial justice and the insurrection stoked by unfounded claims of a stolen presidential election. Turning a blind eye toward January 6, in service of The Big Lie and a sore loser, has eroded our very foundational principles and is sickening to real patriots.

So back to the topic of this thread which is the dangerous Donald J. Trump and the political party who refuses to isolate and condemn him for his corrupt anti-American activities and menacing destabilizing movement.
Good to know. It's comforting hearing that Raz Simone is going to be held accountable for his part in the take over of an area of Seattle and handing out firearms to people.

You could listen to the Trump speech being discussed here. Decide for yourself if you think he is a good or bad person.

You can say the same thing over and over again, but it's still nonsense.

The impeachment was about as meaningful as Obama's Nobel Peace Prize, and being called "disgraced" by the Democrat Party, media and progressives is like being called "thief" by a looter.

The disgraced & defeated former president dangled pardons for the Jan. 6 rioters and then urged his supporters to descend on New York, Washington or Atlanta to protest and fight like you've never done before if he is convicted of crimes in the ongoing investigations. He spoke approvingly of the violent effort to overthrow the 2020 election and intimated it may be needed again. Trump also spent most of his speech complaining, falsely, that the election was stolen from him and VP Pence let him down when he wouldn't overturn it.

Come on Republican leaders, where are you? The current head of your political party, DJT, the candidate you successfully brought to the Oval Office, has publicly and openly confessed to having committed the crime of seditious conspiracy against the US Government: He produced a written statement and has verbally said he has a right to overturn the election when he said Pence should have done so for him. DJT also confessed publicly to fomenting and inciting by giving aid and comfort to insurrectionists with those pardons.

He is standing there in front of the world daring The US Government, The AG & The Justice Department to enforce the Rule of Law. You come after me and I will stir up my angry mobs and make America suffer.

This is wrong, this is dangerous and there is a major political party, who by their silence and refusal to condemn Trump and his ongoing threatening, violent rhetoric & anti-democratic positions are condoning him and his menacing movement.
Honest question. Can you provide an actual quote showing any racial remarks he made? Or where he suggested that he committed sedition?
