Wow, the above is so very stupid that I'm at a loss of words.

You're probably thinking of HIV-AIDS. And until this pandemic, I would have been right up there with you. Dismissing someone who denied HIV caused AIDS as kookery.

But on my research on this, led me down this road as well. If you think about it, and are smart to see it, you will see the conflicting pieces of information in the theory that HIV causes AIDS. And yes, it's a theory, a scientific one, and as always can always be disproven.

HIV is cultured in CD4+ T-Cells for purposes of creating these diagnostic tests, yet somehow kills CD4+ T-cells at the same.

Diagnosis of HIV (and therefore AIDS) is often done with an antibody test, the usual marker that someone has rejected the virus.

To explain HIV causing disease, scientists have turned to long latency periods and cofactor viruses.
AIDS in the West is confined mostly to men, but in Africa, mostly women which by itself suggests the syndrome (AIDS is a syndrome) is not infectious.

Influenza kills a third to two thirds of a million people worldwide annually.

Ebola is spread by contact with infected blood and secretions. The animal reservoir has not been pinned down yet.

You are an HIV denialist, too? That explains a lot.

Covid is not killing people?

HIV antibodies show evidence of infection with the virus, not a "marker that someone has rejected the virus." Those antibodies do not result in clearance of the virus.

Testing for HIV:

Of course AIDS is not infectious. The virus that causes it, HIV, is.

Antibodies to any virus has for eons meant immunity, until HIV-AIDS hypothesis. A lot of mental gymnastics have been used, including high mutation rate, yet these antibody tests that can detect the virus don't seem to be made irrelevant.

HIV causing AIDS is a scientific theory, not fact, and a poor one at that. HIV maybe infectious, as are trillions of benign viruses and bacteria, but it's clear AIDS as a syndrome strikes certain sexes disproportionately. Between 5-10 times the likelihood to strike males vs females in the USA. This almost completely reverses when we look at Africa, striking more females than males there.

Also, the definition of AIDS is circular. If you have TB + HIV antibodies in Africa, you're automatically classified as an AIDS patient. If you have TB but no HIV antibodies, you're just garden variety TB disease sufferer.

Amyl nitrates have been established as the link to KS, now that they have been phased out, KS does not even present in AIDS cases in the USA and never has in Africa. Once the signature of AIDS, is no longer.

True. You seem to be unable to locate the word "for".

So 330,000 to 666,000 out of 8 billion.

What percentage of the worldwide population is killed by influenza?

0.004% to 0.008% of the worldwide population dies from influenza.

More people die in car crashes each year worldwide.

Antibodies to herpes simplex viruses do not mean immunity either. Those that cause oral and genital infections and chickenpox produce lifelong infection.

That the demographics of AIDS vary from country to country does not mean that AIDS is not caused by HIV.

People with AIDS are susceptible to other infections. About Kaposi's sarcoma:

What do car crashes have to do with flu? Poor attempt at deflection.

330,000 to 666,000 is a lot of people.

Not deflection. Perspective.

0.004% to 0.008% means that there's about a zero chance you will likely die of influenza, globally speaking.

There are more car crashes. If you want to scare people with DEATH!!!!! DEATH !!! DEATH!!!!! you should be talking about car crashes. Not influenza.

Because the chance, of dying from influenza, worldwide, is ALMOST ZERO.

As you pointed out since you brought up the numbers.

A small percentage of a total population of billions results in a large number of deaths. Sorry the math is so hard for you.

330,000 to 666,000 deaths per year is not trivial.

Car crashes are irrelevant.
