Perhaps it's time to repeat history. (Putin, Marines, border, military)

I don't know about the rest of you, but I think it's time to roll out the "Enola Gay" once again, with one unannounced stop over Moscow.
Let's get this done once and for all.
Russia would be in no condition to retaliate.
I am 100% certain that if we did that, the commanders of the submarines and individual missile silos would be authorized to launch. So unless we took them all out, which is impossible, they would most definitely retaliate. If all we sent was your one plane, then we'd have nothing to re-retaliate so it wouldn't be so much mutually assured destruction as much as self-assured destruction.

Yup. Times have changed since 1945. Retaliation is a certainty. Mutual assured self destruction.
Let me get this straight.
American Imperialism and the creation of NATO in 1949 after WWII have continued
expanding East of the Berlin wall approximately 800 miles to the point that raised American
Flags can be seen from the Russian Border.
How would Americans feel if Russian Flags were raised
just outside the Boundaries ( 90 miles ) of the United States?
Well it did back in the 60's. Russia and it's close relationship with communist Cuba,
the discovering of missiles, the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 and ending only when
Russia withdrew it's missiles from Cuba.
So the expansion of Imperialism is O.K. but Putin is a bad man for his attempts at expansion.
China is good because we have a trading relationship?
China is good because you are only allowed to practice 5 religions?
China is good because of it's human rights reputation ?
China is good because they have stolen our military secrets ?
China is so trusting that the United States government
asked for help against Russia by forwarding them intelligence on Russian buildup.
China rebuffed the U.S. and forwarded the intelligence to Russia?
China is so Wonderful.....
Confusing? It is really not.
It comes down to Conquer or be Conquered.
Imperialism vs Communism.
Under our current leadership Communism sees weakness and
will continue to acquire landmass at any given chance.
America did when it had the chance...... When we were Powerful.
As a Proud American I pray, we as a people , choose to follow and always protect the ways of the Constitution.
Our System of Government is Democratic as people govern themselves and as a Republic because
government power is derived from the people.
I have known no better and rewarding way of life.
The freedom of being an American is unimaginable.
No wonder everybody wants to come here.
Charity starts at home.
Let's do what we have to do to protect ourselves
until we vote on strong leaders so that we can go beyond
to protect others.
Let's see if the laws of nature play themselves out among our species this lost decade. Life post covid has been a clown world anyways. I'd love to see an event that collapses the stock market by 80% in a couple weeks so I'm with you OP.
Leadership in modern society is inept anyways because we don't allow failure anymore, just perpetual bailouts, so bad elements remain and increase within our institutions. Time to shake the snow globe.
