Your faux outrage over DeSantis with some high school kids, but perfectly ok with government mask/vax mandates imposed on every American man, woman, and children since 2020.

Yes, the truth that has been hidden from most. Numerous studies pre-COVID, 2017 and earlier, show that cloth masks were basically useless, perhaps at most stopping 3% of what is breathed out, but also the negative health effects, and psychological of being masked for extended periods.

Not the issue. The thread is about the Gov yelling at kids in an educational environment where HE said was the parent’s jurisdiction!

The whole De Santis matter illustrates the problem so perfectly. The first thing that must be understood is the battle that has been ongoing between school boards who want to impose mask mandates and De Santis who issued an executive order blocking them from doing so. So, that’s the background noise, and it explains De Santis response to the clearly staged and symbolic F you, using the students as props in this juvenile liberal display toward him, which is understandably exasperating. This is far from a one time, isolated thing. There have been overt violations of state law by certain school boards who issued illegal mandates that violated those prohibitions, and lawsuits and angry parents on both sides, and literally a clown show of liberal lunacy run amuck, because in the eyes of these anti-freedom liberal pukes, De Santis is only millimeters above that bottom feeder, Trump. OK? That’s the issue in a nutshell.
Now, what we can gather from all of this, is what conservatives have always recognized …. the left’s idea of freedom to choose is what they claim it is, day by day, and always a moving target. There is no consistency because there are no guiding principles that follow logic and reason. While a conservative understands that freedom of choice is a principle to follow, which means that such freedom extends to everyone, and no one’s freedom can negate another’s …. Liberals don’t think this way … they actually believe that their freedom to choose OVERRIDES everyone else’s.
Want an example? Gender confused Martin decides one day he now identifies as a female and demands to be referred to as Martina, and therefore must be allowed to use the girls restroom. This distresses the girls because they are in their 3rd year with Marty being a male, and do not want HIM in their girls bathroom. To the liberal lunatic, the rights of all the girls are superseded by “Martina’s” rights, and can therefore be ignored. This is because liberals are not guided by principles, only agendas. While principles remain pretty consistent, agendas can change in an instant.
Woe be unto Martina if it is ever discovered that her gender confusion extended into politics and she became a staunch Republican …. it would be back to Martin and the boys bathroom for him!

You wanna know what is clear and recognized by everyone? It’s the extreme hypocrisy which is frequently seasoned with a dash of self righteousness, followed inevitably by hissy fits of angry attacks from liberal loons whose only version of freedom is their version, which always means do as you are told, as long as it’s a Democrat who orders it. But the moment someone else has a different idea about what freedom of choice means, it’s immediately met with the requisite displays of righteous indignation, which quickly degenerates into full blown psychotic fits. And all the while, y’all lie shamelessly.
One of the students, 14-year-old Kevin Brown Jr., a high school freshman, told The Associated Press he was caught off-guard by DeSantis and felt pressured to removed his mask.
“I was a little bit surprised at his tone,” Brown said of the governor, adding that he chose to leave his mask on because there were many unmasked people around and he was wary of getting COVID-19.
