If you can't see the difference, then you are truly LOST! DeSantis is giving them the CHOICE! You however are presenting a scenario where no choice is given.
They already have the choice. Scolding them is ****ing weird.
DeSantis biggest weakness is his thin skin. I am still not sure DeSantis can make it through a Republican primary without imploding, especially if Trump is there.
These are high school kids and I am certain were instructed to wear masks, no need to put on a show toward them.
Quite the assumption of him having thin skin, as if that were the case he’d simply go along with weak, entitled, shut it down folks, etc… like we’re seeing in other states. DeSantis isn’t afraid to stand up to such nonsense, and what a pleasure he is to have here in Florida…and so many folks moving here in droves obviously agree.
It's their version of the MAGA hat, a political statement that they are on the side of the Democrats. It's also an outward sign that they are brainwashed fools. Yes, it is up to them. However they are announcing to the world that they don't care who knows how stupid they are.
Masks do not work. They never did and everyone knows it. Except the people who have a religious belief in the Democrat Party and were snookered by the lies the Democrats and Fauci told them for the past two years.
They have the right to wear a cloth mask, or a gigantic clown nose, or a dunce cap. I have the right to laugh and point. So does DeSantis and everyone else.
Why would you (literally or figuratively) laugh and point? If nothing else, it’s just bad manners. Governor DeSantis and all the others who think wearing masks are of little or no value have won the war….I think it is pretty clear that even if masks do help, the vast majority of the population is done doing it. New York, California, DC, (pretty liberal places) are dropping their masking requirements. You’ve won…you are getting what you want. If some folks still want to wear masks, be gracious…it’s not hurting anyone else, and if it makes them feel better, good for them.

Desantis is a pompous jerk those kids did nothing to deserve that kind of disrespect from the so called governor. Its their choice if they wanna wear one you know personal freedom that republicans believe in.
Masks helped keep sickness down, in large amounts, not just corona.
Not only false, but it has ***never*** been true, as decades of research done before the liberals politicized public health proves.
