No, we don't all live in your conspiracy theory world and "know" that this was a stunt.

I don't think even DeSantis is stupid enough to claim that he was set up by a bunch of kids.

No parent in their right mind would have imagined a governor would treat their kids the way he did. They were guests at the event. It is socially unacceptable most places, but especially in the South, to mock, ridicule, berate and shame your guests.

We don't actually know what "staff" that was. In the first interview the kid said he didn't know who the person was. Dad (who wasn't even there) spoke up and said it was a member of "the staff". Was it a school staff member or the governors staff? We don't know. But it was after dad spoke up that the son suddenly knew it was "staff" and started referring to them that way. Definitely coaching going on here.

No surprise the kid didn't know a gov is accompanied by staff but the father did and in one interview said the "staffer" walked in with the gov. So what if dad helped his son out. That's what dads are for. Not some giant conspiracy or the coaching would have taken place before the interview.

If it were someone from the school standing up front DeSantis would likely have introduced them. That's how he usually operates at these type events.
