Did you even watch the video and read the captions? Holy crap. He clearly said if they wanted to wear one, then go ahead but that they were not required to.
He had no business speaking to children the way he did.
He bullied them.
Imagine if a politician told teenagers, "It's much better if you wear masks. I mean please, put them on." The Karens would be crying and screaming and calling for his head and saying that he had no respect for their parental wishes.
But it's okay (and even commendable) when it's someone on your "side" telling kids to do something contrary to what their parents have probably told them to do, possibly because some of those parents are immunocompromised or otherwise at risk.

He told them what to do regarding mask wearing and admonished them for their masking choice. I thought he was for people choosing whether they want to wear a mask or not.
It’s what I used to do all the time - tell people they can take off their masks around me, I rather see your smile than avoid some harmless microscopic virus I’m breathing in anyway.
Bonus: I’d see who I was talking to was smart or dumb.
Wearing a mask is the equivalent to wearing a condom (to prevent STDs) or ducking under a desk during a nuclear strike. It’s all BS.
