Gasoline in my area double since Biden took office. I passed by the gas station yesterday and it is $3.99. It was just over 2 when he took office.

Prices uniformly changed around the county at lunchtime yesterday to $3.79/gal. Today they went to $3.99/gal when the sun came up. It's all very weird... and worrisome.

There's a Texaco station near me with a $3.999 sign out front. Just a few days ago it was 70 cents less.

I'm in Ocala, Fla. Tuesday it was $3.49 today I'm seeing it has hit $4.00 at Racetrac Stations. I did see$4.25 I think that was Chevron. Shell and the others seem to be $3.80 to $3.99. Tomorrow I imagine the standard price in all stations will be $4.00. I've never seen prices go up this fast. I'm not surprised I expected this would happen. It also wouldn't surprise me if so called gas shortages start like in the 1970s.

At this point it is all speculators as there is no constriction in supply. We are entering the spring maintenance and blend switchover season too and you know how that is always used to run up prices at the pump.

It's gone up at by at least 60 cents where I live, 80 cents more in some stations. I'm driving Door Dash now. I figured if I have to drive, I might as well get a side gig to pick up extra money.

Baltimore County, MD (3/5) - $4.07

Usually we're right at (or even slightly below) the state average. So very worrisome indeed. I can't imagine what we're going to be looking at come April and May.

There are 8 stations in my town and it shows the price for each.

Not everyone is hurting. People in the oil industry should be doing very well.
