In one week, the price of gasoline, here in the Triangle, has gone up from $3.50 to $3.80 - $3.90.... This is insane! I have no idea how people who live paycheck to paycheck are able to afford this....

It's about a buck higher than a year ago. $15 per fillup more or less for me. I notice it, but it's not changing my lifestyle all that much. I am rethinking my annual cross country RV trip this year though. We'll see where things are in May.

aint been out today, but we were well insulated until tues night, went from 3.69 to 4.19 as of last night, much higher else where - 4.40ish

our state has little dead of winter tourism so basically demand right now is at the lowest part of the year...

we have no supply or resupply issues. almost all of our oil sold here comes from the PA/NY border.

In before someone brags that their gas is cheaper than California and/or complains about California gas prices.

Bonus points if liberals/communists/socialists/Newsome/Biden are also in the same sentence.

I laugh at people complaining about gas under $4/gallon.

Thanks to a combination of Dictator Newsom and Brandon...

Depending on the station I get the joy of paying $4.99-$5.49...

Yep..Just had to do it...

Was $3.39 to $3.49 a week ago. Then $3.59 everywhere for most of the past five days. This morning it's $3.84 to $3.89 most places I passed. There is some variance due to the size of the county I live in.

$3.79 at the place my housemates stop at in rural SC, up from $3.39 a week or so ago. I don't have a car but do help with gas when we go on photo trips out of town.

GasBuddy tells me the average in my city was about $3.57/gal a week ago and is about $3.89/gal today.

Why?
