You got it! And, so many questions remain as how it went down, as anyone from anywhere for any reason having access doesn't make any sense. I believe it was meant to be peaceful, but someone facilitated their entry, and some of those inside were there to make matters worse than they were meant to be.
I think the people should have been allowed to be present, and that was their intention. Remember how people outside the group were there causing issues?
Fighting for Democracy will likely get more prevalent as the government attempts to take our rights away, well, the ones they haven't already taken. Many of us still have the spirit that brought our ancestors here, and we will not give up! "Live free or die."
There's a big difference between the two groups. BLM is about social injustice. There is still racism and discrimination against them which are trying to highlight and change. Their protests have been peaceful until antifa got involved. BLM and antifa are not the same though. We can get into that in another thread. On the other hand, the riot on our capitol was all about attacking our government and threatening the members, because they didn't like how the election turned out. This was an attack on our democracy.

We keeps hearing that Americans privately own over 80 MILLION firearms. I think if there were a true insurrection, some of these would have been brought to use.

There are always multiple injuries to law enforcement officers during riots and mostly peaceful protests. But in most of those it doesn’t fit the narrative so that info is glossed over.
