We dodged a bullet by defeating Trump. I truly believe that, had he won, we would be on a Putinesque trajectory. It is well-known that right-wing nationalism - ie, fascism - is on the rise globally. Americans must be vigilant not to let it get a foothold here.

There is probably some shred of humanity remaining in liberals that can understand what they are doing is in opposition to individual liberties and freedom. However, if that sentiment exists, it is repressed in favor of gaining accolades from fellow liberals for being "a good liberal" and supporting the premise of fascism in America.

Liberalism is the biggest threat to individual rights and freedom the nation has ever faced. Liberalism, as it has infiltrated US politics, has been far more damaging than all the Japanese and German militaries of WW2 to the nation.
Hilarious! Hawkeye, do you seriously not recognize the irony in your post? You responded to a post decrying liberal hyperbole, with a monumental example of hyperbole of your own!

False. Communism is left-wing authoritarianism. Fascism is right-wing authoritarianism. It's not that hard to understand.

Marxism / Communism has its ultimate goal of worldwide socialism, so by definition it is more globalist. Fascism, on the other hand, tends to be nationalistic. Hitler and his Master Race being a vivid example.

That doesn't mean that all nationalists are fascist, or that all globalists are communists. Both are compatible with liberal capitalism.

Fascism is left wing. Everybody knows it. It was even created by a bunch of rejects from the socialist parties.

Left wing is about collectivism and statism, aka slavery.

Right wing is about individual freedom, particularly free from the state.

Everything this modern day Demo party accuses others of, they are in fact guilty of said accusation, every single time. The democrat party and some republican allies are nothing but a group of fascist themselves.

Right wing in the United States is different than right wing Hitler's Germany, Mussolini's Italy.
Left wing before and just after the American revolution where Patriots, liberals. My wife's family were Tories, loyal to the King. They were conservatives. Time changes things and politics.

There is no difference. Left wing is for slavery, and right wing is for individual freedom.

Just look at their policies.

I think if Trump's coup attempt had been successful, we'd be finding out right now. But, I really worry about the Republican we don't know about yet. Senator Hawley in Missouri is one to keep an eye on. Unlike Trump, he is smart and capable.

Here's a definition of fascism. I think a lot of posters here believe it means political philosophies "I" disagree.

But, in reality, fascism is a form of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and the economy that rose to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.

DeSantis proposed registering residents political views with the state and Texas can now arrest a woman for having an abortion. The R's are the ones infringing on your freedom. Be careful, it may be against something you agree now but what happens when they go after you. Think about it.

According to the dictionary which describes it in the link below Fascism is nationalism, and Communism/Socialism are nationalistic traits. I know this first hand. I'll include that Democratic socialist government/societies are not the same animal as the single 'socialism' word.

I see elements of Trumpism falling in line with fascism in regards to some of the other labelings that describes it in the dictionary link below.

fas·cism
[ˈfaSHˌizəm]
NOUN
an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization.
