Multiple states including mine already have laws on the books that ban abortion once Roe is overturned so stop lying...this decision will ban abortion for a good portion of the country...and many woman will not be able to afford to go to a state that does allow it...hell TX is going to try and and make it illegal for a woman to even go to another state that does allow the procedure.
This is a horrible decision by the idiots on the court...and as a gay man, now I have a sneaky feeling the same idiot justices will overturn my right to marry by using this same precedent...this is a truly Activist court now.
It's amazing how much Republican men seek control and revenge against women along with the women who thinks it's okay to go along with them. They also seek further control against women by banning any form of birth control that interferes with the fertilized egg.

On Megyn Kelly a few minutes ago, it was discussed that the leaker is very most likely one of 36 law clerks.
Each justice has 4 clerks, and besides the justices themselves, the 36 clerks would be the only ones with feasible access to the draft. Very very unlikely a justice leaked the draft.
Additionally, it was discussed that leaking this draft in this way is likely not a crime. BUT, there's talk about having all 36 swear under federal oath that they didn't leak the drafts (or admit they did) and lying under federal oath is a felony.
Interesting take.
(Fun fact: although all the talking heads are saying a decision of the Supreme court has never been leaked before, before being officially released, that's not true. The original Roe V Wade decision was also leaked).
Except in cases of provable self-defense, people are held accountable for killing others. It's either manslaughter or murder. There are even laws against fetal homicide that hold the killer accountable. Abortion is no different. It causes the death of a human life.
Then, InformedConsent, how many years in prison do you think every woman should be sentenced to if convicted of abortion. Would 10 years be enough, or would a life time have to enough? You need to wake up and realize that more women than ever will be using drugs for self-induced abortion.

So, one of the details that was discussed, about Court security, is the clerks have a "burn bag" under their desk and any paper that leaves the clerks office goes straight to the incinerator. So it seems entirely possible that somebody taking out the trash could have done this.
This was a draft, created in February, and apparently there have been MANY revisions of this draft since, and before being leaked last week. So this draft, which has since been revised, has sat somewhere for a month and a half before being leaked.

It's only a parasite to those who hate children and science, obviously.

[i]f the mother’s health is compromised, the placenta restricts nutrient flow to the fetus to ensure the mother’s long-term health, with the prospects that the fetus can still grow and develop.

The majority of women in the United States who have abortions are young, poor and unmarried.
It may not be in the best interest of every community in this country to support or promote this lifestyle.
But Republicans are quite strongly opposed to the government doing more to help poor women take care of their babies. To Republicans this is how you promote yet more poverty.
