That's your opinion not the SC judges in my example. Just like my opinion might be that life starts at X and and your opinion is it starts at Y. Like I said you won't answer the question honestly.....capisce.

But ignorant people will still be fooled into voting for Democrats thinking the can restore their abortion "rights".
But with the rate of abortion going down for many years that industry has been getting less and less money to donate to Democrats.

If Republicans in those 26 states would give the people there the right to vote to settle the abortion question, they would not approve any laws that ban nearly all abortion or a proposal that declares life begins at the moment of conception with full human rights given then. We already know how that would go from Mississippi Colorado rejecting such a law.

Why is it that pro-lifers love embryos when they are inside a woman, but don't care when they are in a test tube? Millions and millions of embryos are destroyed in IVF.

Could it be the "woman" part that makes it different?

Amazing how the main position that Biden has legitimately committed to, and the one that the right most wants to fight, is actually the infrastructure and social safety net stuff that was implemented by FDR. And yet as per usual, we all get dragged by our noses into the outrage porn and culture wars.

So here's a thought I've had... As a liberal woman who can't have any more kids (tubal ligation, impending middle age, etc) maybe I ought to move and take my blue vote to a red state? I work from home now, I can live anywhere that has decent internet. Maybe organize some kind of a movement to fight the agenda by further mixing states ideological balances? See who, if we are not concentrated and gerrymandered, has the REAL majority in this country? Whaddya think? Hell, I've got friends whose lives are not directly affected by things like abortion bans, and if we pooled our money we could afford one hell of a mansion in flyover country. Might be nice.

Nah. I chose to get vaccinated and boosted. I was never for mandates. No one was, to my knowledge, forced by law or government to get Covid shots. As for private businesses such as airlines, workplaces... I can't tell them what to do. I mean, you really think that the government should have forced private businesses to not have their own rules about masks and shots? Funny how freedom and private enterprise is only something ya'll care about if it's going your way, huh? "Freedom for all the people, unless I think you're wrong!" (reference to a song, which will now be stuck in my head.)

I don't give a damn if conservatives want to get vaxxed or not. It's your life. We can see how it all shakes out in the end, with this gamble. If you guys are right, then those of us who chose to get the shot will suffer in the end for it, and if we're right, more of you will get severe cases of Covid and die. But if your hospitals in your areas lose the capacity to care for you, well...sorry about your luck. I mean, it was your choice. I just wanted for vaccines to be available for everyone who wanted to get them. That's all.
As a liberal middle class man i am with you on this. The problem is that this isn't just a voting issue. It's a hearts and minds issue. The left has been losing that battle for years now. You can't compete with Fox news and RW radio telling people blacks, gays and Mexicans are hiding in their closet coming to attack them at night. It's one of the most aggressive disinfo campaigns i have ever seen in my life. This is the long game and the time has long passed where we as liberals have to be statesman and fight fair. If not we are headed to Gilead.

Holy crap....look up the term suspended disbelief and try to answer the question because we all know what the answer would be. You just can't say it because then it takes the wind out of your argument.

Either one has control over their body or they don't. I am pro choice and against any sort of vaccine mandate.

I would prefer to see abortion legal in all states but in a more limited fashion. However I am also for states rights and support less control by the feds. So I suppose letting each state decide is a compromise.

I was born in 1948. Actually, I was given the "pill" (not called it then) in the early 60's to regulate my very heavy, painful periods. Yes, people, it has other purposes than just birth control. I was able to use it for bc in the late 60's. I am an Only Child. Mom told me she used a diaphram in the 50's but that had to be fitted and prescribed by a doctor. It was nicknamed the Female Condom. IUD's had their own problems. My SIL's got imbedded in her uterus and had to be removed by surgery.

Speaking of contraception and Griswald v. Ct., which banned contraception among married couples. How many married MEN were banned from buying a box condoms at the corner drugstore? They did not need to see a doctor and get a script for condoms. This law besides the privacy issue, clearly discriminated against WOMEN needing to see doctors for their BC which could be banned and enforced.
