That is NOT a valid reason for having a baby! Mother's have babies out of love, for the husband, and for the new person they create. It should not be forced, and it should not be done for selfish reasons.

To me it's cells, not a "child".
There used to be a time not terribly long ago when people used to wait until they were married or at least in a committed relationship before they started having children. The idea of getting an abortion was rarely considered because you knew you were going to have a child with the person you were married to. Even the thought of getting an abortion was considered sick and disgusting.

But nowadays, there is so much promiscuity that many women don't even know if they want to be pregnant by the men they're sleeping with. This is especially true among low income women. I think the easy access to abortion helps encourage this lifestyle.

So the issue is that abortion is not guaranteed in the US constitution. That is why SCOTUS is passing it on to the States to allow each of the states to decide how to legislate abortion. Some States will likely decide to have greater limits on abortion. There will be no Federal right to abortion anymore. Many States will continue to allow abortions as fully as they do today and many will continue to assist in all the related costs. Many non-profits will financially support transportation of the mother to a State where abortion is legal. Best bet is that if a person is liberal-minded then move to a liberal State where you're sure to always be able to get your abortion(s) done.
