There's no pallet in that photo. It's 75% GoGo Squeeze baby food and 25% formula on a shelf(not pallet).

So that's how that went, for the hundreds of thousands of years.

Until the availability of commercially produced baby formula, which was widely available in the last hundred plus years.

Wrong - Babies could be nursed by sisters and aunts when the mother couldn't. They were called milk brothers/sisters. Then there were professional wet nurses. We have wet nurses today that sell their milk to many hard core health enthusiasts. There was also goat milk.

I haven't read too much about the infant formula shortage, but have been seeing lots of headlines about it, but absolutely the formula that we have, needs to be for American babies first and foremost and not heading to the border in pallets. That is pretty insulting to babies born here by U.S. mothers that aren't nursing.

She's an idiot, top and bottom self of the left picture is baby food only the middle shelf is formula and there's no elaboration when it was purchased or if the picture is even recent. Why doesn't she stop grandstanding and address why the US Baby Food Industry has dropped the ball because that's on them not the government..

Abbott shut down one of the larges factory formula production lines in February due to contaminated formula that was linked to two infant deaths.

Formula production depends on supply chains of ingredients and packaging.

Over half the babies in the 1950's were raised on a formula of evaporated milk.

Native Americans made a formula from corn meal and nuts.

Almost half of formula consumption is subsided by the government in the form of WIC.

I suspect that a large number of babies could survive just fine on some form of readily available milk leaving plenty of formula available for those that truly needed it.
And those are the ones that end up "for sale" on Craigslist.

Lack of formula is "lack of income" for some.....

Too bad your concern is more for illegals than American citizens.
We have always kept baby formula on the border for obvious reasons but now it's a conspiracy.

So tired of the republican party's divisiveness, how about focusing on solving the problem as some elected officials are attempting rather than complaining. Do they ever, ever have solutions.

The Republicans and Trump in particular put in place polciies to deeter illegal immigration but that wasn't a solution? Where have you been? All the Democrats do is to encourage it with amnesty, protect and provide for them within our borders.

There should be no baby formula sitting on our border for the offspring of illegal aliens if we have a shortage of it for our own babies. WTH?

Here is what will stop them - ask if they are citizens before hiring them as landscapers, gardeners, nannies, cleaners, pool boys, lettuce pickers, chicken pluckers, kitchen helpers, food delivery drivers and every other manual labor profile. Rs first in line to pick em up at Home Depot on Sat. A big wall that gets penetrated 30k times was not a solution. It was cult fodder, who hate the real issue. We love cheap labor and they poured over during Trump's term too despite angry rhetoric.

Take away a baby’s milk behind a jail cell - the world will disown America and and the Gov.
Should go to jail for murder, and purposely neglecting or starving a child. The mom can not leave to find food. And you really think God would smile on that? That’s just evil.

Your opinion does not make it fact. We also haven't apprehended ~200K/month for the past 1.5 years.

And with shipments of formula being redirected to the border that means there's a lot more babies less than 1 year crossing.
